Junior Clubs & Courses
Our Junior clubs & courses cater for children and young people from 7 to 17 years of age. We cater for all abilities, from complete beginners to national standard competition climbers, supporting their climbing development and helping them have fun.
All clubs & courses are led by experienced & qualified climbing instructors.
We deliver the National Indoor Climbing Achievement Scheme [NICAS], which provides a progressive structure to an individuals climbing development and allows their progress to be recognised and accredited.
Spider Club
Age 7-13
Sat 10:30 – 12:30 & 13:00 – 15:00 & Sun 10:30 – 12:30.
No experience required, a fun introduction toclimbing. Come for a one-off taster or as weeklyclub. Delivering the NICAS awards. Term-timeand through the holidays.
£12 per person.
Young Climbers Club
Age 13–17
Sat 10:30 – 12:30, Tue & Thu evening 19:00 – 21:00
No experience required, a fun way to learn skills, meet other young climbers and attain the level required to use the wall safely. With the emphasis on individual development and coaching many of our climbers stay with the club. Training for Green & Leader Cards (age 14+) and NICAS.
£12 per person.
Foundry Youth Coaching
Age 7–17
Tue & Fri 19:00 – 21:00
This club offers young people a natural progression from the Spider Club and Young Climbers’ Club. With a positive and encouraging atmosphere our instructors will work with each student developing a plan to further their climbing. Having spent time in the other clubs the climber, instructors and parents will know when it’s the right time to move forward.
£12 per person.
After School Programme
Age 7 & above
Tuesday & Thursday 16:30 – 18:30
A structured programme developing skills & technique, working towards the NICAS awards. Fun, healthy exercise, developing confidence and independence.
£12 per person.
