The Foundry Climbing Centre has been providing world class indoor climbing for over 15 years. One of the first major climbing walls in the UK, the centre gives a top quality climbing experience for all climbers. The wide range of top rope routes, leading walls and bouldering combine with teaching and training facilities, café, gear shop and friendly instructors to make us a base for the whole community.
Our courses and clubs cater for a wide range of abilities. We can take you from the very first indoor climb to routes on crags around the UK and abroad.
We provide full equipped and instructed activities for a wide range of groups including youth, schools, family, corporate, and fundraising.
Our courses can meet the requirements of GCSE for schools and we are a primary centre for the delivery of the National Indoor Climbing Award Sheme (NICAS), a great way to develop and award young climbers.
