ADVENTUROUS LEARNING
We are one of the largest providers of adventurous learning and personal & team development programmes nationally.
We deliver adapted adventure activities, along with a range of other exercises and challenges, and build them into structured developmental programmes.
A number of our core instructional staff have teaching / lecturing qualifications, along with a range of outdoor qualifications. They are all highly experienced in education outside the classroom.
Structured adventurous learning programmes are highly effective in re-engagement of young people. Participants can experience success at their own level and this progress can then allow them to move forward in education / training / employment.
We have a depth of experience in the accreditation of key / core skills through adventurous learning, and are able to adapt provision to meet the specific requirements of academic / training programmes.
We utilise novel challenges and environments in order to both challenge and stimulate, and remove barriers to effective learning. We are constantly adapting and innovating to ensure that our provision continues to evolve. We also share best practice with other leaders in the field adventurous learning [whilst striving to stay one step ahead!].
All of our adventurous learning programmes are ‘custom built’ to meet the specific requirements of the group / individuals within the group. Delivery is a dynamic process, responding to the pattern and rate of development within the group and on the needs of individuals.

Adventurous learning works best when built into a progressive programme, either a series of regular day sessions or as a single multi-day experience.
Residential living offers a wealth of opportunities for both personal and team development, and accelerates the developmental process. It also aids the process of balancing the adventurous and academic requirements when adventurous learning is being used for the purpose of formal accreditation.
